Paul Clary - Assistant GM for Public and Community Relations
Paul Clary served as the Director of Public and Community Relations for the Shuckers in 2011-2012. With expansion of his duties he will now serve as the Assistant GM for Public and Community Relations. The Shuckers has a successful season off the court in 2011-2012 as the team donated over $1,500 in cash and products to many local schools, youth organizations and charities including: Northeast High School, Annapolis Area Christian School, Meade High School, St. Pauls, Kami's Jammies, the Oyster Recovery Partnership, the Cancer Support Fund and more. On the court Paul also serves as the Shuckers 6th Man and quickly became a fan favorite.
Clary of Middle River, Maryland has a vast knowledge of charitable and football operations. In 2003 and 2004 Clary worked with the Baltimore Ravens promotion department for their annual SpringFest. In 2007 Clary established himself in professional indoor football as the 9th Man for the Baltimore Blackbirds of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) leading fans through all on-field contests and entertainment. In 2008 he was named the Promotions Director for the Chesapeake Tide of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL), and was later named Assistant General Manager.
In 2009 and 2010 he worked for the Baltimore Mariners of the AIFA as their 9th Man and in July 2010 led the on-field entertainment for AIFA Bowl IV, the national championship game held at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. A graduate of Southwestern High School in Baltimore, Clary currently attends the Community College of Baltimore County. He supports and works with several charitable operations in the bay area including Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Maryland, Casey Cares Foundation, Sarah’s Hope Shelter for Woman and Children, and Turner Station Community Center.
