Rob Portch – Assistant General Manager for Business Strategy

In 2011-2012 Rob served as the Assistant General Manager for Basketball Operations and to capitilize on his diverse experience in business, coaching, and sports operations he has been named Assistant General Manager for Business Strategy.

A graduate of Liberty High School of Eldersburg, Maryland Rob attended Howard Community College. He has coached football at the high school and youth football levels for nine years and has coached indoor and outdoor football. He currently is the Director of Football Operations for the St. Frances Academy. He also owned and operated T&R Trucking and serves as consultant for several projects in the local area. Rob is married to Kim Portch (Partner Owner) and they have one son, Brett.

In 2011 Rob had perhaps his best season as a coach. On the staff less than one year, Rob helped take over a program at St. Francis Academy that had had three different football coaching staffs in  their first three years of existance As Offensive Coordinator, he led an offense that averaged over 40 points per game and won the MIAA C Conference Championship 44-17 on November 18, 2011.
